Its been far too long since Mario had a 2D adventure on a console, but that has been remedied thanks to this sumptuous feast of a game. Some may complain that it offers nothing new, but I disagree. While its not the fully realized 3D environments that have been the hallmark of the series since Super Mario 64, New Super Mario Bros. Wii has many wonders up its sleeves. From new suits, to moving environments, this Mario Bros. is way harder than the original could ever hope to be. That's why the super guide was invented. Fail to finish a level after 8 tries and you get the option to use the guide and be helped through the level. For fans of the series, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a dream come true.
